Line 14 of the Paris Metro: A look back at a major project

On the occasion of the International Public Transport Day, we reflect on our contribution to the Line 14 project of the Paris Metro, which has welcomed thousands of passengers since its opening this summer.
Since the official inauguration on June 24th, in the presence of President Emmanuel Macron, our platform screen doors have been in operation over nearly 2 km, covering 8 new stations. This extension has significantly improved passenger flow management.
The commissioning of this extension was crucial for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. It is now the longest line on the network, connecting the south and north of Paris in record time. Additionally, it provides faster access to Orly Airport, much to the delight of travellers.
The extension of Line 14 has contributed to improving the daily life of Parisians. The line is expected to welcome nearly one million passengers in 2025.
We are proud to have contributed to this project and would like to thank our internal teams: sales, design, production, installation, and all the project teams, as well as our partner Equans France and the teams of RATPgroup for their collaboration.
